Daisy grew up in West London as a single child with her Grandparents and Mother. From the age of 10 they were just 3 women of 3 different generations living in one house…. An interesting time for a teenager!
She went to boarding school in Kent from the age of 10 till 18 where she was more into extra curricular activities than academic studies. Her biggest passions at school were art, photography, sport and Drama.
After school Daisy went to study Drama at St Mary’s University where she obtained a 2:1. Later moving to Manhatten to study Acting for Film at The New York Film Academy.
Daisy treaded the boards as an actress in London for 10 years, as well as script supervisor and PA, before stumbling upon her love of baking and cake decorating. During these 10 years, she also worked in the hospitality industry working her way up from Food runner to manager at various restaurants, cocktail bartender and bar manager.
While filming a TV series in 2011 Daisy went through a personal tragedy and suffered from insomnia as a result. So instead of sleeping at night, she would bake. With so much baking, she started receiving requests. After making a cake for a family friend, she discovered that decorating was her thing and quickly her hobby turned into a business, and Daisy Brydon Creations was established in late 2012.
Daisy has a good number of returning clients, some of whom include Matt LeBlanc, Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Hynes with corporate clients including Sidra Jafri and Wilson Luna and The BBC.
Daisy now lives in West London with her grandmother and Pekinese and her mad cockapoo Zazu.
